Slow Museums follows in the footsteps of the Slow Movement (Slow Food, Slow Cities, etc.). This blog shares thoughts on museum exhibits and architecture – and how people visit them – with a focus towards objects and content rather than high design and “edutainment.”
The blog slogan, “Just be your self, then people will like you,” harkens back to what parents tell their children, in an effort to encourage museums to do the same.
Slow Museums is written by Kezia Simister, an exhibit developer, and David Whitemyer, an exhibit designer. Both live near Boston.
NIce!!! Great idea!
